Kerrville, Texas

The small town of Kerrville, Texas rebuilds after a flash flood on July 4th, 2025 claimed the lives of 119 people, including 27 girls at a sleepaway camp. Throughout this film, the theme of restoration recurs in unexpected ways as volunteers remove flood debris and plant new saplings along riverbeds, a paleontologist works to protect ancient dinosaur footprints, a taxidermist sands antelope antlers, a cowboy art museum installs paintings by local artists, and a church choir revisits an old hymn.
